POSITION Branch Manager- Material handling Location Johannesburg Salary R60 000 – R80 000 CTC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Management of : New unit sales Used / Refurbished unit sales Rental fleet Spare parts Product support Submit annual sales budgets for the Inland branches for approval by the Management Board and take accountability for achievement of same. Ensure that all relevant business units are appropriately staffed and that staff is professionally trained, managed and motivated. Conduct regular formal as well as informal staff appraisals and provide feedback to the Management Board and the HR function. Create a positive working environment by communicating company strategies and objectives and ensure that these are understood and met. Where necessary identify appropriate experienced companies that may be appointed as dealers. Ensure that the brand is marketed and promoted throughout the region via digital marketing platforms, customer days, golf days and participation in trade shows. Conduct regular customer visits, in particular those considered key accounts. Liaise closely with all support functions to ensure effective and efficient running of the business. QUALIFICATIONS A period of 15 to 20 years’ experience in the forklift industry is an advantage. A proven track record of managing and motivating successful sales or commercial teams either in the forklift or a competitive industry. Strong work ethic, self-motivated and goal orientated. Ability to meet targets and deadlines. A positive outlook and ability to communicate clearly and effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
