Senior Producer – The Refinery (Cape Town) The Refinery, one of Africa’s leading post-production studios, is looking for a Senior Producer to lead our team in Cape Town. You’ll take full ownership of complex post schedules, manage multidisciplinary artist teams, and act as the primary point of contact for international studios, producers, and streamers. If you can guide a feature film/tv show from dailies to delivery with precision, calm leadership, and a deep understanding of finishing, this role is for you. Oversee end-to-end feature post-production , from ingest and turnovers to final masters. Build and manage detailed post schedules , delivery calendars, and workflow plans. Lead communication with international producers, studios, and post supervisors . Coordinate daily operations across DI, online, grade, sound, QC, and VFX teams. Manage conform, pulls, turnovers, VFX plates, and review cycles. Run finishing workflows across Baselight, Resolve, Flame, Nuke, and Pro Tools . Track all deliverables: IMF, HDR/SDR masters, M&E, subtitles, QC reports , and streamer specs. Own budgeting, resource planning, and change-order management. Maintain smooth collaboration across editorial, DI, VFX, sound, and QC to keep the film on track. 10+ years of experience in long‑form post‑production (feature film essential). Expert understanding of the entire picture finishing lifecycle: online, grade, conform, VFX, sound, QC, and mastering. Proven ability to manage international clients , complex deliverables, and high‑pressure deadlines. Exceptional at scheduling , team coordination, and maintaining tight workflow discipline. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage both artists and creatives confidently. Highly organised, solutions‑driven, and composed in fast‑paced environments. Experience working with Netflix, Amazon, Lionsgate, Canal+, or other major global studios . Knowledge of Dolby Vision, HDR10, IMF packaging, and global QC specs. Familiarity with remote‑review systems like ClearView, Streambox, Iris. On‑site in District 6, Cape Town , collaborating with our Johannesburg team.
