Key Responsibilities To optimize the financial& operational performance of the MARC site through effective management of people, customers, contractual requirements and resources. Install and drive a culture of Zero Harm aligning to the Site's standards, BWE standards and our Principals (CAT). Implementation and maintenance of equipment management processes and associated risk for Barloworld Equipment and our customers. Achievement of a team environment that enables maximum productivity and profitability (includes management of HR value chain). Effective management of safety, health, environment and quality risks. Qualification, Experience And Competencies B. Engineering (Mechanical Engineer) or Gr 12 with formal artisan qualification 5 years of previous MARC / Service Supervisor experience with track record and demonstrated skills in business development, financial management and leading / managing people in a team-based and participative environment. Track record in leading / managing people in a team-based & participative environment (experience in managing service operations in a supervisor role critical). Sound business and financial acumen, Exposure to business planning / budgeting processes. Sound HR and IR skills. Sound knowledge of the Minerals Act (with sound knowledge of safety rules and regulations). Sound business communication and presentation skills. Sound PC knowledge (Microsoft Office). Good interpersonal skills to develop internal and external customer relations. Sound Equipment Management skills and knowledge Contract Management. Plan, lead, organise and control.
