Control Systems Engineer – Operational Technology & Industrial Networks Netherlands (On-site) | Full-time | ️ Engineering Are you an OT Engineer or Control Systems Specialist ready to grow your career internationally? We’re looking for South African engineers with experience in industrial networks, control systems, and cybersecurity to join projects across the Netherlands. You’ll be working on the backbone of smart factories and automated plants, ensuring reliability, performance, and security of OT systems. What you’ll be doing: Designing, implementing, and maintaining OT infrastructure: PLC/RTUs, SCADA, industrial networks Applying cybersecurity best practices (segmentation, secure comms, vulnerability management) Supporting network design & protocols: OPC-UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet Performing risk assessments, incident response, and monitoring of control networks Collaborating with automation, electrical, and IT teams to ensure safe, reliable, and secure operations Supporting commissioning and troubleshooting onsite and remotely What you bring: National Diploma / BTech / BEng in Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or Computer Systems 3–5 years’ experience in OT, control systems, or industrial IT Knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, Ethernet/IP, Profinet) Familiarity with SCADA platforms and cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, ISA/IEC 62443) Background in SA industries like FMCG, mining, food & beverage, utilities, or manufacturing English required (Afrikaans a big plus, as Dutch is similar to Afrikaans) What we offer: 1–2 year contract with possibility of long-term employment Full relocation support + package (€1500–€3000) Visa sponsorship/residence permit (for you and spouse) Salary: €3000–€4100 depending on experience €2000 interest-free loan facility Dutch language lessons Housing assistance Personal guidance through the relocation process Send your CV to or message me directly. #J-18808-Ljbffr
