Role Description This is a predominantly on-site role based in Rivonia Johannesburg for the position of Academic Manager. The Academic Manager will oversee the delivery of our Higher Certificate programme. Primary responsibilities include managing course programs, working closely with subject matter experts, ensuring educational materials remain up-to-date and accurate, coordinating with external partners and supervising the learning journey of students ensuring compliance with national education frameworks. The Academic Manager will also support workshops, training sessions and corporate learning initiatives to promote industry growth and skills development. Qualifications Strong experience in content development, curriculum design, and educational program management Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage tasks and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals Proficiency in coordinating with industry professionals and external partnerships Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective presentation and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively on-site within a dynamic and evolving industry setting Experience in the Cannabis industry or knowledge of Cannabis-related education and regulations is a significant advantage Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Part-time Industries Education #J-18808-Ljbffr
