About the Client (AU) Since inception in 1996, we have been providing successful and innovative compliance management solutions to businesses both nationally and internationally. Beginning with web‑based solutions around risk advice and compliance tools to leading multinational organisations, we rapidly moved through provision of risk management and compliance applications, to complete enterprise planning and monitoring systems. Our current systems connect live risk and WHS information from an extensive repository of risk and safety data, to proprietary algorithms to provide automated risk platforms built for any size and organisational structure. This ensures organisations of all sizes can accurately and efficiently identify and mitigate any risk in a timely fashion to reduce injuries, environmental catastrophe and major security breaches including acts of terrorism. Already a leader in the use of digital and NFC technology to support risk and compliance, the client’s future plans include further innovation in the areas of Internet of Things (IoT) and AI. Key Responsibilities System Architecture and Design Develop comprehensive architecture for scalable, secure cloud‑based application leveraging Azure and microservice architecture. Ensure the integration of microservice, search infrastructure, and cloud services aligns with business requirements. Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Database Management Design and optimise microservice solutions such as SQLite, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Table Storage, and Azure Data Lake Gen2 for performance and reliability. Implement best practices for data modelling, indexing, and access. RESTful APIs Develop and optimise RESTful APIs using C# .NET Core to support a high‑performance, distributed architecture. Search Infrastructure Architect Elasticsearch solutions for fast, reliable search capabilities. Monitor and optimise Elasticsearch clusters for indexing and query performance. Frontend and Backend Integration Collaborate with frontend teams using React to ensure seamless integration with backend systems. Define APIs and data flows between services. Azure Cloud Solutions Leverage Azure services such as App Services, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps for scalable application deployment. Implement security best practices, including identity and access management on Azure. System Optimisation and Maintenance Conduct performance tuning and scalability assessments. Establish monitoring and alerting frameworks to ensure system reliability. Leadership and Collaboration Provide technical direction and mentorship to development teams. Engage stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions. Required Skills and Experience Microservice: Strong expertise in designing and managing microservice solutions. Elasticsearch: Proven experience in managing and optimising Elasticsearch clusters. React: Proficiency in building and integrating frontend applications with React. Azure: Hands‑on experience with Azure services, including App Services, Azure DevOps, and Azure Functions. Programming: Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or C#. API Design: Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines, especially within Azure. Preferred Qualifications Experience with containerisation tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes). Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies. Familiarity with advanced data security and compliance requirements. Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data management strategies. Experience with serverless architectures and microservices deployment in the cloud. Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus. Work Schedule (Day shift) Monday to Friday; 7AM-4PM (Manila Time) Work Setup (Onsite – Candidate's site preference) Quezon City (Eastwood, Libis / SM North) Pasig (Zeta Building – Bridgetowne) Alabang, Muntinlupa (Filinvest City) Note: Work setup will transition to hybrid/WFH once the team has already been established.
