Overview Introduction BT Projects is seeking a Site Supervisor to supervise and manage the daily operations of projects on-site. Ensure tasks are carried out efficiently, maintain safety and quality standards, and oversee the proper use of resources to meet project objectives. Responsibilities Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities. Ensure compliance with electrical and safety regulations. Coordinate daily tasks, work permits, and safety briefings. Verify cable terminations, earthing, and final connections. Report project progress to the project manager. Supervise and delegate daily tasks to teams, ensuring project goals are met efficiently and on time. Conduct pre-task briefings and post-task debriefings to ensure clarity of responsibilities and gather feedback. Oversee and manage preventative maintenance activities for electrical installations to avoid breakdowns. Educate and enforce health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with safety standards during all project phases. Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and stakeholders regarding progress, risks, and project updates. Resource Management. Manage inventory of tools and materials, ensuring availability and preventing delays caused by resource shortages. On-site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, timesheets, delivery notes, and health and safety documentation. Qualifications Valid Installation Electrician Qualification. Proven ability to oversee and manage electrical installation teams. Minimum 3 years' experience in supervising construction team. Strong understanding of electrical codes, Eskom safety standards, and quality assurance requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
