Responsibilities Design and develop websites with a strong emphasis on visual appeal, user experience, and technical performance. Ensure optimal site functionality including speed, scalability, and capacity to handle varying traffic. Support the implementation of technology initiatives by contributing to project planning and execution. Develop prototype systems to test and prove new technology. Make recommendations of technology and vendors and define use cases. Research new technology in the financial sector and maintain a knowledge base of fintech trends. Develop bespoke applications to assist the treasury functions. Participate in the development of a blockchain platform for financial systems. Assist with driving ad hoc projects that enable continuous improvement and implement audit recommendations. Design SharePoint sites and optimize them. Support applications with database design and development; custom development with web front‑end and SharePoint Designer. Develop InfoPath forms, workflows, generic SharePoint forms, web development, and custom user controls. Set up and support telephones, audio and video conferencing facilities. Support the DRP site, Windows environment, business applications, operational software, and remote access solutions. Perform proactive patch management and general network maintenance. Implement new and existing system changes to the business. Ensure relevant IT documentation and administration is accurate and up to date. Ensure relevant libraries adhere to Group Records Management standards and policies. Create metadata and taxonomies according to records management standards. Manage business information in line with records management standards and policies. Act as a subject‑matter expert to adopt, implement, maintain SharePoint and Records Management environments. Provide SharePoint troubleshooting assistance. Assist with setting up surveys, lists, libraries, views, permission groups and other web parts. Contribute to profitability through cost saving within scope of work. Provide specialist advice and support to stakeholders. Assist with integrating, reporting on, and checking key results and risk indicators against company frameworks, regulations and legislation. Assist with ensuring assessment processes support prudent and responsible practices. Highlight risks that might adversely affect portfolio business objectives.
