Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC / Service Technician to join their dynamic team in the Netherlands. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives on challenges and wants to make an impact across diverse commercial and residential projects.About the Role:As a Service Technician, the successful candidate will ensure advanced heating and cooling systems operate efficiently. Responsibilities include maintaining, servicing, and repairing boilers, heat pumps, chillers, and large-scale HVAC installations. The role also involves responding to urgent breakdowns to ensure uninterrupted operation for clientsâ buildings, which range from hospitals and office buildings to shopping centres.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and resolve faults on cooling, heating, and HVAC systems.Perform repairs on boilers, pumps, chillers, heat pumps, and related mechanical installations.Conduct preventive and scheduled maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.Provide on-site expertise and solutions during urgent breakdowns.Requirements:NQF Level 4â5 qualification in mechanical and/or refrigeration technology (or equivalent).Completed Red Seal trade qualification.Minimum of 4 yearsâ relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within large residential or commercial buildings.Proven experience with cooling and heating systems, including boilers and HVAC installations (air and water systems, pumps, chillers).Knowledge of f-gases and compliance with safety regulations.Strong background in mechanical maintenance and building-related installations.Additional technical training in HVAC, refrigeration, or boiler systems is an advantage.Willingness to participate in standby/on-call duties approximately every 6â7 weeks.Valid South African driverâs license.Proficiency in Afrikaans.What We Offer:Permanent contract with a knowledge migrant visa valid for 5 years.Comprehensive relocation package: family visa, relocation budget, housing assistance, airport pick-up, banking and insurance setup, social registration, and 30% tax benefit application.Work-life balance: 25 days leave plus holiday allowance.Exciting work environment based in Eindhoven or Houten (close to Utrecht).Training & development program, including Dutch language courses (up to B1), workshops, integration tools, and vitality package.Social events for employees and families: team activities, workshops, and culinary evenings.Important Notice to ApplicantsSydSen Recruit will never request any form of payment from candidates at any stage of the recruitment process.
