Plan and execute service schedules and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)Rebuild diesel engines with expertise in Isuzu and Cummins enginesPerform fault finding and diagnostics on earth moving machineryMaintain and repair hydraulic systems on earth moving equipmentUtilize diagnostic equipment and software for troubleshootingUphold ISO standards in all workshop operationsLiaise with customers regarding warranty work and technical issuesAccess and process warranty claims and documentationProvide technical support and guidance to customersManage and supervise workshop staffPlan and coordinate parts ordering and engineering workTrain and mentor apprentices in diesel mechanics and earth moving equipmentHandle general administrative duties for staff and workshop operationsOversee receiving and assembling of new machines from containerized or fully built formREQUIREMENTSMinimum 10 years experience as a diesel mechanic specializing in earth moving equipmentProven competency in Isuzu and Cummins engines (essential)Experience with Kubota, Yanmar, and Mitsubishi engines would be advantageousDemonstrated experience in workshop management and staff supervisionExperience in training and mentoring apprenticesSound knowledge of earth moving hydraulic systemsCompetent in the use of diagnostic equipment and softwareEngine rebuilding expertise with focus on diesel enginesProficiency in fault finding and troubleshooting complex machineryUnderstanding of warranty procedures and customer liaisonParts planning and engineering work coordinationComputer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelFluent in both English and Afrikaans (essential)Ability to handle administrative duties and documentationValid drivers licenseMust be able to travelMust have a valid passport
