What youll be doingConduct daily site visits and hands-on training for cleaning staff with a focus on food safety and hygiene complianceDeliver orientation, refresher, and site-specific training aligned with HACCP and food safety standardsImplement and monitor training programs and SpecCon learning modules to ensure operational excellenceEvaluate employee performance post-training and provide actionable feedback to improve hygiene and food safety complianceIdentify training gaps and recommend interventions to continuously improve staff competenceSupport succession planning by identifying and developing high-performing employees ("superstars")Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and submit timely reportsConduct OHS checks, audits, and ensure compliance with food safety regulationsPerform equipment inspections and operational readiness checks to ensure hygiene standards are metEnsure strict adherence to company policies, client specifications, and food safety standardsEngage with Operations Managers and General Managers to provide feedback and track site performancePromote a culture of safety, hygiene, and professional conduct across all teamsWhat youll need35 years experience as a Trainer in Cleaning, Hospitality, or Food SafetyProven track record of facilitating operational, compliance, and skills-based training focused on food hygiene and safetyMandatory Food Safety certification (HACCP, ServSafe, or equivalent)Knowledge of cleaning standards, chemicals, equipment, hygiene, and occupational safety practicesRelevant Training / HR / Hospitality / Food Safety qualification (ETDP or similar advantageous)Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skillsValid drivers license and own reliable transport (travel required)Computer literacy (MS Office, learning platforms)Clear criminal recordWhat is in it for you?Permanent role offering stability, growth, and development within a reputable services groupCompetitive salary: R25 000 R30 000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)Work in a people-focused, professional environment where food safety and training excellence are valuedOpportunity to make a real impact by shaping workforce capability and compliance with food safety standardsA Few Things to KnowBased in Honeydew, Gauteng, with regular travel to various sitesReports to the Training & Development Manager / General ManagerThe role requires a proactive, hands-on trainer with strong operational insight and attention to detailExperience in cleaning, hospitality, or food safety training is a strong advantageTravelling to different client sites will be compulsoryReady to Apply?Click Apply and please complete your application in full.If you dont hear from us within 3 months, your application was not successful.
