You will play a key role in project delivery from conceptual design through detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning ensuring technical excellence, cost efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate E,C&I design, documentation, and integration for new and existing plant projects.Develop and review technical specifications, single-line diagrams, P&IDs, and control system architecture.Oversee instrumentation selection, PLC/DCS programming, and control philosophy development.Manage electrical load studies, cable sizing, earthing, and protection coordination.Supervise drafting teams and interface with mechanical, process, and civil disciplines.Conduct site inspections, FATs/SATs, and provide commissioning support.Ensure that designs meet regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.Mentor and support Junior Engineers and Designers.Liaise with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelors Degree (BEng/BSc) in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).8+ years experience in E,C&I design and project execution within mining, mineral processing, oil & gas, or heavy industry.Proven experience with PLC/DCS systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, and ABB).Strong knowledge of instrumentation, automation, and process control systems.Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, AS/NZS, and SANS).Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP, or similar design software.Demonstrated leadership, communication, and coordination skills.Willingness to travel to site and support field execution when required.
