Purpose of the role:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Agent to join our logistics team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals eager to build a career in freight forwarding, supplychain, and logistics. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting smooth operations across the logistics chain.Key Responsibilities:Assist with coordinating local and international shipments (imports and exports).Prepare and verify shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.).Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.Communicate with transporters, warehouses, and customs agents to resolve delays.Update internal systems and maintain accurate shipment records.Provide administrative support to the logistics team as needed.Support in resolving client queries related to shipment status.Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.Requirements:South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.Must not have previously participated in the YES Programme.Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (advantageous).No prior experience required training will be provided.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Good written and verbal communication skills.Basic computer literacy (MS Office, data entry).Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to learn and grow within the logistics industry.Please consider your application unsuccessful when you have not heard from the Signa Opportunity team within two weeks of submitting your application.
