The successful candidate will oversee internal and external sales functions, drive new business development, and maintain strong client relationships within the agriculture, horticulture, floral, or related green industries.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong client relationships (existing and new)Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targetsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within the horticultural, floral, agri sectorsPrepare and present accurate sales reportsWork closely with internal departments to ensure operational and service continuityAssist with marketing initiatives, including social media, floral branding, and product promotionsRepresent the company at client visits, trade shows, expos, and industry eventsMinimum Requirements35 years proven sales experience in agriculture, horticulture, or the floral industry (or a related technical field)Strong new business development and client retention backgroundPrevious team leadership or supervisory experience advantageousValid drivers licence and confident driving skillsAdvanced Excel skills and experience with accounting / CRM softwareExposure to social media marketing, floral branding, and promotional initiativesTechnically minded with a practical understanding of agricultural, horticultural, or floral products and processes Fully bilingual in English and AfrikaansVersatile, hands-on, and willing to assist in other operational areas when requiredPreferably a non-smoker
