Crushing Superintendent

Our client, a leading player in the mining and engineering sector, is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Crushing Superintendent to join their dynamic operations in the Northern Cape. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all crushing and screening production activities within a robust open cast mining environment.Requirements:N3 Certificate OR Qualified Artisan (Fitter, Millwright, Diesel Mechanic)5 years+ post-qualification experience in a heavy industrial environment (e.g., mining, heavy engineering)2 years+ experience in a formal Supervisory roleNon-negotiable hands-on experience with crushing and screening machinery in an open cast mining environmentA valid driver’s license and own transportMedically fit to meet mine-specific health and safety standardsKey Responsibilities:Supervise plant operators to ensure optimal performance of crushing and screening circuitsConduct daily performance reviews and provide on-the-spot coachingReport equipment issues, breakdowns, and service schedules to the Plant ManagerEnforce SOPs and safety protocols with strict complianceLead root cause analysis on work comebacks and address training gapsMonitor and manage team overtime in line with company policy
