Our client, a well-established hotel known for its warm hospitality and excellent guest service, is seeking an experienced Hotel Receptionist to join their front-of-house team. You will be required to welcome guests, handle bookings, and ensure every stay feels seamless and special.Candidate Requirements:Valid Driver’s License – Non-NegotiableThe candidate must be an experienced and confident driver. Practical driving ability and confidence on the road are essential.Own Reliable Transport – Not Public TransportDue to shift work, candidates cannot rely on public transport.Late-night transport (after 9pm) is often unavailableReliable personal transport is therefore essential.LocationWe are committed to supporting our local community.Candidates must live in Kuilsriver or surrounding areas.Applicants from Bellville, Brackenfell, Kuilsriver, or within a 20km radius will be considered.Skills & CompetenciesExcellent communication skills and professional, polished appearanceCustomer-focused with the ability to manage challenging situations diplomaticallyPrevious experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferredStrong hosting and guest relations skillsExcellent administrative skills, including accurate typing and professional email correspondenceFluency in English and AfrikaansAge & GenderCandidates between 25 and 40 years oldFemale / MaleWorking hoursWilling to work shiftsWorking weekends and public holidaysKey Responsibilities:Welcome and assist guests in a warm and professional mannerManage check-ins and check-outs efficientlyHandle guest inquiries and provide information about the estate and surrounding areasAnswer phone calls and emails promptly and professionallyMaintain accurate guest records and reservationsProvide shuttle service to the restaurant and tasting centre (on-site only)Assist with bar service when requiredSalary:Maximum R12,000, depending on experience6 off days per month21 days annual leaveImportant:If you do not hear from us within 14 days, please consider your application for this role unsuccessful.
