This is an opportunity to step into a technically significant role within a growing renewable energy environment. If you enjoy tackling complex civil and structural challenges across multiple technologies, this role will keep you engaged and developing.In this position, you will support multidisciplinary infrastructure projects spanning PV, wind, and battery energy storage systems. You will work closely with EPC teams, ensuring all designs are compliant, constructible, and aligned with project risks and timelines.Our client is an established engineering and energy solutions business delivering large-scale renewable projects across Africa. They offer a collaborative environment, technical depth, and exposure to full-project lifecycles.What You’ll DoProduce site grading, foundation designs, and civil infrastructure layouts for various renewable technologiesPerform structural analysis and verification for PV racks, wind turbine foundations, and BESS enclosuresDesign battery enclosures for fire suppression, ventilation, and thermal managementConduct constructability reviews for access roads, buildings, and auxiliary structuresCoordinate with EPC teams to ensure structural compliance and effective risk mitigationWhat You BringPr Eng registration5–9 years’ civil and structural engineering experienceStrong structural analysis capability across renewable technologiesExperience with foundation design, infrastructure layouts, and site developmentAbility to collaborate effectively with EPC and multidisciplinary teamsWhat Success Looks LikeDesigns delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with project risk profilesEffective management of civil and structural constraints across technologiesClear, proactive coordination with internal and external stakeholdersRobust compliance and constructability outcomes throughout execution
