RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced RESIDENT ENGINEER (FIXED TERM CONTRACT) for a large concern. Position based on the East London Outskirts, Eastern Cape. MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY JOB DESCRIPTIONGrade 12.B Eng, BSc Eng or BTech (Civil) Qualification.Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng registration with ECSA.Labour-Intensive Construction unit standard at NQF Level 7.Valid Code 08 drivers license / own reliable vehicle.Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).8+ years of post-graduate site experience. Successfully executed at least (2) bridge construction projects in a lead / site representative capacity.Act as the Engineers Representative on the LIC bridge project and administer the contract (e.g., GCC).Plan and coordinate construction to achieve scope, programme, quality, safety and environmental targets.Maintain records / measurements and support payment certification and reporting.Engage with Employer, Contractor and community structures in line with LIC principles.Apply Quality Management System (QMS) in all work.Facilitate monthly reports and co-ordinate with all engineers site staff and related resources.
