We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician with specialized knowledge in truck and trailer electrical systems to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on commercial vehicles, trucks, and trailers.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair electrical faults in trucks, trailers, and commercial vehiclesInstall, maintain, and repair lighting systems, including LED conversionsWork with trailer brake controllers, ABS systems, and air brake electrical componentsTroubleshoot and repair charging systems, alternators, and battery management systemsInstall and maintain auxiliary power systems and invertersPerform electrical system inspections and safety checksRead and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagramsInstall aftermarket electrical accessories and equipmentMaintain accurate service records and documentationEnsure all work meets safety standards and regulationsRequired QualificationsValid electrician certification or equivalent trade qualificationMinimum 3-5 years experience as an auto electricianEssential: Proven experience with truck and trailer electrical systemsKnowledge of 12V and 24V electrical systemsExperience with commercial vehicle lighting systemsUnderstanding of trailer electrical connections Familiarity with air brake electrical componentsAbility to use diagnostic equipment and multimetersStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsValid driver's license
