Reporting to the Head of Project Execution, this pivotal role ensures projects remain on track, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.If you're passionate about clean energy, thrive in high-performance environments, and have a strong background in project coordination and financial control, this is your opportunity to shape South Africa’s renewable energy future.Key ResponsibilitiesStakeholder Coordination & ReportingManage project documentation, travel logistics, and reporting timelinesEnsure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standardsLiaise with project teams, suppliers, and regulatory authoritiesMaintain risk registers and lessons learned documentationSupport project reviews and executive reporting presentationsProject Planning & SchedulingMonitor project schedules and flag potential risksEnsure alignment with key milestones and portfolio integrationCost Control & Budget ManagementSupport the development of project budgets and forecastsMonitor costs and assist with financial reporting and savings analysisRisk & Performance MonitoringDevelop KPIs and real-time dashboards to track project healthIdentify risks and contribute to proactive mitigation strategiesMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s in Engineering, Project Management, Finance, or similar3–7 years’ project control experience (preferably in energy, infrastructure, or construction)Familiarity with solar, wind, BESS, or hydro projects is a strong advantageProficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, Excel, and Power BISolid understanding of financial planning, scheduling, and contract frameworks (FIDIC, NEC advantageous)PMP, PRINCE2, or AACE/CCP certification (preferred)Excellent communication, multitasking, and stakeholder coordination skillsIdeal Candidate TraitsA driven, emotionally intelligent team player who thrives under pressure and brings a blend of human-centric leadership, resilience, and agility—along with a deep commitment to sustainable development.
