ENVIRONMENT:LOOKING for a dynamic, short-term opportunity to make a significant impact? Our client, a UK-based Non-Profit, has a 6-month extendable contract for the coding talents of a Salesforce Developer. The role will involve handling a backlog of smaller system improvements as well as leading larger projects from inception to completion. Particular focus will be on building a new external facing site using Lightning Web Runtime whilst integrating with the existing internal facing systems. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience with the design and development of Lightning Web Runtime sites for external users including development and test of custom reusable LWR components & component integration with the Site Builder. DUTIES:Work collaboratively with a fellow developer to enhance the existing Salesforce system.Address a backlog of smaller system improvement cases.Lead and own larger Development projects within the Salesforce ecosystem.Develop, test, and deploy custom solutions using Salesforce technologies.Ensure best practices in Salesforce development, configuration, and integration.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce functionality and performance.Provide technical guidance and recommendations to optimise Salesforce usage.Document changes and ensure seamless knowledge transfer.Guide and advise the team on a range of solutions to meet their needs and build efficiency across all workflows. REQUIREMENTS:Experienced with design and development of Lightning Web Runtime sites for external users -○ Development and test of custom reusable LWR components○ Component integration with the Site BuilderStrong User Experience (UX) & design expertiseProven experience as a Salesforce Developer with expertise in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, workflows, validation rules, and custom objects.Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs and third-party tools.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Advantageous Salesforce Certifications (such as Platform Developer I or II).
