Minimum Requirements: Grade 12Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook2 - 3 years experience in a professional high-pressure environment Knowledge of medical aid and PMB rules will be beneficial.Knowledge of the POPI Act regulations for healthcare will be beneficialWilling to travel, own reliable transport, non-negotiable Main Responsibilities: Acknowledge all patients with warmth and friendliness, showing empathy where neededCapture all patient info correctly, checking info as you type (must be able to capture at least 6 patients per hour)Check medical aid benefitsDo quotes for all exams and take co-payments/short payments by medical aidsEnsure you understand and follow the protocol for emergency patients, ensure terms and conditions are signed.Book patients for CT & MRI scans and provide prep info for CT & MRI examsObtain Authorization for all examinations.Process payments for all private patients, walk-in or in-hospital patients, allocate payments to correct invoicesObtain and scan in all relevant WCA documents for workplace injuries/diseasesScan and attach all relevant documents to the correct patient profileResolving telephonic enquiriesWork hand in hand with the Radiography Team Leader and Head Office staff to ensure an efficient and affective workflow between all departments Participate in monthly staff meetings /small group meetings and make suggestions for improvement Hours of Work: Depending on branch: 6h30 - 15h00 or 8h00 17h00 or 8h30 17h30 or 9h30 18h30.You may also be required to assist with the occasional night shift.We encourage differently abled people to apply We support an inclusive work environment and welcome applications from individuals with disabilities.
