IntroductionA well-established Accounting firm based in Pretoria East is looking for a Tax Accountant with post-articles tax and accounting experience, including individual and corporate tax. Proven ability to liaise with SARS and manage audits.Desired Experience & QualificationRequirements:Education: Membership with CIMA or SAIPA, or SAIT.Completed articles at an accredited accounting or auditing firm.Experience: Minimum 2 years post-articles tax and accounting experience, including individual and corporate tax. Proven ability to liaise with SARS and manage audits.Technical Knowledge & Skills:Strong understanding of South African tax legislation (Income Tax Act, VAT, PAYE, Customs & Excise).Skilled in preparing and submitting tax returns (individual, corporate, provisional, VAT, PAYE, EMP501, IT3t’s).Strong accounting knowledge, including financial statement interpretation and reconciliations.Working knowledge of SARS e-filing.Software Skills:Skilled in accounting systems (Pastel, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks).Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel)Competencies:Analytical and detail oriented.Excellent time management and communication skills.High ethical standards and confidentiality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Package & RemunerationR18,000 – R30,000 CTC pm.
