The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of Load Haul Dump (LHD) machines, drill rigs, and other earthmoving equipment in an underground environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance on underground diesel equipment.Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.Maintain detailed maintenance records and report on equipment performance issues.Work safely and comply with all mine health, safety, and environmental regulations.Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):Trade Test: Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal or equivalent).Minimum 35 years experience with underground LHDs, drill rigs, and earthmoving machinery.Sound knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Previous mining experience essential (underground environment preferred).Valid drivers license.Willingness to work rotational shifts and in challenging underground conditions.Attributes:Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.Ability to work independently and within a team.Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
