A well-established Farm is seeking a skilled and reliable General Mechanic to join their team. This is a full-time live-in position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment maintaining and servicing a wide range of farm and forestry equipment.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Essential):- Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Zulu- 3–5 years’ experience working on farm vehicles and implements (e.g. tractors, Bell loggers, bulldozers, skid steer loaders, and trucks)- Auto electrical experience- Chainsaw repairs and servicing experience- Computer literacy with basic admin skills- Strong people skills, time management, and planning abilityADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES:- Experience in water pump repair and servicing- Firefighting experience in forestry or agricultural environments- Other general workshop skills- Code 14 driver’s license (beneficial for after-hours income opportunities)To apply, please send your CV to:
