Youll be part of a team that thrives on collaboration and values individuals who genuinely care about hospitality.The Role: Apart Hotel ReceptionistAs a Receptionist, youll be at the heart of the guest experience, ensuring every visitor feels welcome, supported, and delighted throughout their stay. From check-in to departure, youll provide professional, friendly service, coordinate with multiple teams, and help deliver seamless and memorable guest interactions. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys people, thrives in dynamic environments, and takes pride in making others feel at home.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver outstanding guest experiences and ensure high satisfaction at all timesWelcome guests on arrival and provide smooth, efficient check-ins and check-outsAct as the first point of contact for all guest and client enquiriesAnswer emails, messages, and phone calls promptly and professionallyCreate and manage bookings, including handling payments accuratelyCoordinate concierges and assist with guest requests or unique experiencesLiaise with internal teams including Guest Experience, Property Managers, and OperationsCollaborate with your team daily to solve guest or operational challengesAbout You1 - 2 years of experience in hospitality, reception, or customer-facing roles (advantageous but not essential if you bring the right attitude)Based in Cape Town and available for shift work, including evenings and weekendsEmpathetic with strong emotional intelligence and a guest-first mindsetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly observant and attentive to guest needs and non-verbal cuesTech-savvy, organized, and detail-orientedCalm under pressure, solutions-driven, and proactive in all situationsA genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiencesA strong team player who contributes to a positive, service-driven culture
