Job Title: Manager - Learning & DevelopmentLocation: Durban, South Africa (On-site)Working Hours: Primarily South African business hours, with flexibility to work US hours when required.About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead, design, and deliver our L&D programmes. This role will oversee the full training lifecycle—from needs analysis and content creation to facilitation and evaluation—ensuring our employees are equipped with the skills to excel. The successful candidate will work on-site in Durban and play a strategic role in shaping our organisational learning culture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Learning & Development function, aligning training initiatives with business objectives.Design, develop, and implement leadership development programmes.Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) and instructional design processes.Facilitate engaging training sessions for various levels of the organisation.Partner with stakeholders to identify skills gaps and recommend tailored solutions.Manage the evaluation of training programmes to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement.Lead and mentor the L&D team, fostering innovation and professional growth.Candidate RequirementsProven experience in Leadership Development.Proficiency in Learning Management Systems and Instructional Design.Strong skills in Training Facilitation and Instructional Delivery.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Minimum of 2 years in a management or Head of Department role within L&D.Ability to work on-site in Durban.
