Sprinkler Design Engineer â Netherlands

Our client is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Design Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team in the Netherlands. This role offers the opportunity to design and develop comprehensive fire protection systems for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards while delivering innovative and safe solutions.About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for designing fire protection systems, including sprinkler and suppression systems, as well as detection layouts. They will prepare detailed drawings, piping layouts, wiring diagrams, and 3D models to ensure seamless integration with control panels. The role also involves flow and pressure calculations, estimating material requirements, and managing projects from start to finish, including site visits and stakeholder engagement. Collaboration with engineers and multidisciplinary teams is essential to refine designs and resolve potential challenges.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop fire protection and detection systems for commercial and industrial buildings.Prepare detailed fire detection drawings, piping layouts, wiring diagrams, and 3D models using AutoCAD 2D/3D, Inventor, and relevant software.Conduct flow and pressure calculations and estimate material requirements.Manage projects from conception to completion, including site inspections and stakeholder communication.Ensure designs comply with quality standards, ISO standards, and engineering regulations.Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve design issues.Present and refine designs throughout the development process.Requirements:Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 3 yearsâ relevant experience in fire protection and sprinkler system design.Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Inventor, and other design software.Strong experience in flow and pressure calculations.Knowledge of ISO and engineering regulations related to fire protection.Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans; ability to work with engineers and lead multidisciplinary projects.Open to learning Dutch.What We Offer:Permanent contract with a knowledge migrant visa valid for 5 years.Comprehensive relocation package: family visa, relocation budget, housing assistance, airport pick-up, banking and insurance setup, social registration, and 30% tax benefit application.Healthy work-life balance: 25 days leave plus holiday allowance.Training & development program: Dutch language courses up to B1, workshops, integration tools, and vitality package.Social events: team activities, workshops, and culinary evenings for employees and their families.Important Notice to ApplicantsSydSen Recruit will never request any form of payment from candidates at any stage of the recruitment process.
