Estate & Hospitality Manager

The candidate will oversee the smooth running of a private residence, maintain the estate to impeccable standards, and deliver exceptional yet discreet hospitality during family visits. The ideal candidate will have a genuine appreciation for remote, nature-based living, thrive in a high-expectation environment, and bring pride, ownership and discretion to all aspects of the role.Candidate Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day operations and general upkeep of the propertyImplement and manage preventative maintenance plans for buildings, vehicles and groundsSupervise staff and coordinate external service providersEnsure guest readiness at all times, including housekeeping standards and estate presentationProvide warm, discreet hospitality and anticipate needs during family visitsPlan and coordinate meals (for couples, cooking responsibilities may fall to the second partner)Manage budgets, stock control, procurement and record-keepingUphold high standards of safety, security and confidentialityAssist with logistics such as arrivals, departures and activity planningCandidate Requirements:Previous experience in estate, lodge or hospitality management (private residence experience advantageous)Strong organisational, administrative and problem-solving skillsHands-on, proactive and comfortable in a remote environmentExcellent communication and people management abilitiesHigh levels of discretion, professionalism and service excellenceFor couples: one partner ideally experienced in hospitality/culinary dutiesThis is a live-in position with a 3/1 work cycle.Includes a food allowance.
