IT Specialist A dynamic manufacturing organization based in the East Rand is looking to employ a IT Support Specialist / Manager with 5 years’ experience.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMinimum RequirementsGrade 12Relevant BCom Degree in IT from a reputable institution5 years relevant and proven work experienceValid Driver’s License and own vehicleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in fast-paced and driven company environmentManaging and solving all IT related tasks in production areas, e.g. equipment, computers, networks, etc.Make recommendations about purchase of technology resources, improvements, best practices, etcResearch current and potential resources and servicesHandle confidential information in accordance with current policies and proceduresDevelop and maintain local and international networks in ways that optimize performanceMaintenance of a knowledge base of procedures and solutions to commonly reported faultsConnection and setup of hardware and maintenance thereofLoading of all required software and the maintenance thereof; ensuring software licensing complianceEnsure that technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software.Ability to install, administer, maintain and troubleshoot all hardware, software and network operating systems.Operational tasks e.g. analyzing and diagnosing of computer hardware, software and network problems. Installation, replacement and testing of new and repaired hardware
