Job Title: Senior Risk ControllerLocation: CenturionJob Type: 3 Month ContractSeniority Level: Mid-Career (3 - 4 yrs exp) Sectors: FMCGDuties and Responsibilities:Overseeing Safety, Health, Environmental, and Risk complianceImplementing and monitoring SHEQ Management SystemsProviding guidance and support on compliance mattersInteracting with regulatory authoritiesLeading continual improvement of SHER programmeEnsuring safety and environmental programmes are efficientConducting risk assessments and implementing risk management strategiesCoordinating with Project teams for safe project executionQualifications:Matric or Grade 12Completed: N. Diploma in Safety Management/Environmental Science/ NEBOSH National or International DiplomaSAMTRAC will be an added advantage.HSE Implementation and Internal Audit (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)Advanced SHER related trainingAbility to solve issues.Critical ThinkingReport Writing skills.Communication skillsBusiness AcumenStrong Knowledge of the OSH Act No 85 of 1993Strong Knowledge of the ISO (SHE) Management SystemsStrong Auditing Skills based on SHERMust be self-directed and able to function independently.Must be agile and resilient to change.Results driven.The position requires the ability to cope with changing circumstances and situations with little supervisionMinimum 3 years experience in a FMCG environment.Technical and analytical problem solving.Must be able to come up with solutions.
