This position reports directly to the Financial Manager and plays a key role in supporting the company’s financial operations. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform bank account reconciliations and cashbook administrationProcess and administer sundry sales transactionsPrepare monthly general ledger reconciliations and journal entriesCompile and calculate income tax schedulesAdminister and submit VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax returns and reconciliations to SARSReconcile salaries and wages and process monthly payroll paymentsMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounting recordsMonitor financial performance and analyse budget and forecast variancesProcess and reconcile inter-company transactionsMaintain and reconcile the fixed asset register with the general ledger Minimum RequirementsEducation:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related Finance fieldNational Senior Certificate Experience:Minimum of 2 years in a similar accounting roleTechnical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Formulas, Pivots, Spreadsheets)Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or similar)Other Attributes:Strong analytical and numerical skillsHigh attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities What They OfferCompetitive market related salaryInclusion in the company’s provident fundA stable, reputable working environment in the mining manufacturing industryKindly send detailed CV, Certificates, and ID Copy
