Bring your backend engineering expertise to a high-impact role shaping the future of digital healthcare.About the RoleAs a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll design, build, and maintain the APIs and infrastructure powering a cutting-edge health platform. Working at the intersection of data, cloud, and user impact, you’ll collaborate across engineering, product, and AI teams to deliver robust and scalable backend solutions that integrate wearable, biometric, and behavioural data.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain backend APIs using Python (FastAPI)Design scalable systems for real-time health data integrationWrite clean, testable, and maintainable codePartner with frontend, AI, and product teams to deliver impactful featuresContribute to system architecture discussions and evolutionLead infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and DevOps workflowsManage cloud deployments using Docker and Kubernetes (GCP preferred)Implement monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry)Ensure platform security and compliance (e.g. GDPR, OAuth 2.0)Skills & ExperienceMust-HaveMinimum 5 years in backend engineering rolesAdvanced Python skills with FastAPI or FlaskStrong background in API design and asynchronous programmingExperience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), Docker, and KubernetesFamiliarity with CI/CD and DevOps practicesProficient in SQL databases and data pipeline developmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperience with orchestration tools like Airflow or DagsterProduct-oriented mindset with a focus on usability and impactCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (not specified)Remote-first flexibilityOpportunities to work on impactful healthcare technologyDynamic and collaborative engineering cultureCompany Culture & ValuesRemote and fast-paced team environmentEmphasis on innovation and real-world impactCross-functional collaboration and architectural ownershipInterested?
