MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Grade 12National diploma in safety management/ Risk management/ SAMTRAC or relevant qualification and experience will be advantageousExperience in the Citrus/ Agriculture/ Food Processing industry will be advantageous COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Computer skills (MS Office)Able to lead and drive a safety cultureStrong communication and interpersonal skillsEffective handling of detailed information and consistent attention to detailAbility to work with little supervision and track multi processesTeam player and able to work under pressure KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS Ensure all incidents and accidents are reported and correct documentation completedEnsure all identified risks are mitigated and managed as far as possible to avoid any hazardsAssist with drafting risk assessments, procedures, and work instructionsEnsure all H & S lawful requirements are met and adhered toConduct emergency drills and action when neededDrive the reporting of near misses and incidencesConduct Health and safety audits and inspectionsCommunication of Corrective action reports for area of non-conformances ONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted
