Duties: Meet guests when they arrive and getting them settled in their roomsAnticipate guests needs by learning their preferences, allergies, dislikes, etc.Have a thorough understanding of all spirits and specialty foods in stockAssess and restock wine and spirit collections as necessaryServe meals and pour drinks for guestsCommunicate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are cleaned at the most convenient time for guestsRun errands for guests when necessaryEnsure guests rooms are clean and tidy up when necessaryRecommend and arrange amenities for guestsSee guests off when they check outAlways remain well-groomedKeep up to date on all hotel policies on safety and hygienePerform all duties with discretion, professionalism and a pleasant demeanour Requirements: Experience as a Butler or similar role in the hospitality industryStrong multi-tasking skillsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to adapt to a fluid environmentCommitment to a high level of customer serviceStrict attention to detailKnowledge of area restaurants, theatres and other attractions in the vicinity and surroundingsAbility to handle sensitive matters with efficiency and discretionKnowledge of food and wine pairings is a plusPrevious experience an advantage
