Focus areas include preventive and corrective maintenance, breakdown response, team leadership, and safety compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute preventative maintenance using SAP or CMMSAllocate resources and manage daily maintenance tasks and schedulesConduct routine inspections and oversee condition monitoringCoordinate rapid response to equipment breakdownsTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issuesLead root cause analysis and corrective action implementationEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standardsMonitor KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, uptime, and downtimeCoach and develop maintenance team membersManage contractors and service providersReporting LinesReports to Maintenance ManagerSupervises: Senior Artisans Electricians and Fitters Semi-skilled staff ApprenticesCollaborates with: Production, Engineering, H&S, and IMS teams External contractors, inspectors, and auditorsMinimum RequirementsTrade Tested Millwright qualificationMinimum 5 years' experience in maintenance supervisionStrong background in both mechanical and electrical systemsExperience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and pressure vesselsProficiency in SAP Maintenance Module or other CMMSTechnical and Soft SkillsAbility to read and interpret technical schematics and drawingsStrong diagnostic and planning skillsExcellent leadership and team management capabilitiesClear and effective communication skillsHighly organized, proactive, and compliance-orientedStrong multitasking ability and attention to detailSafety-focused with a hands-on leadership style
