Company and Job Description: Join a dynamic team as an Accounts Receivable Controller, where youll play a key role in driving the efficiency and integrity of the revenue and debtors function across the global network. As the Accounts Receivable Controller, youll ensure financial accuracy, effective cash flow management, and compliance with accounting standards. Youll oversee the accounts receivable team, maintain control over assets, manage intercompany accounts, and support the Head of Finance with reconciliations, reporting, and audits. This position offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on the business while developing your leadership and analytical skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: Reconcile allocated balance sheet accounts, including assets, debtors, and revenue.Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate, timely asset capturing.Manage AMI intercompany accounts and confirmations.Calculate and maintain provisions for bad debt.Oversee and support the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.Negotiate with clients regarding overdue payments and implement collection strategies.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc forecasting and financial reports.Ensure all revenue and invoices are accurately captured in Pastel from the relevant ERP system.Conduct credit checks, monitor cash inflows, and maintain debtors ageing below 5% for 90+ days.Compile and deliver reports on cash forecasts, collections, and sales performance.Assist with internal and external audits.Job Experience and Skills Required:Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification (Finance or Accounting preferred).23 years in a supervisory role within debtors Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial control role.Strong computer literacy (Pastel and ERP systems experience beneficial).Knowledge of accounting standards, financial analysis, and statutory regulations.Exposure to the Service Industry advantageous.
