With large-scale operations and a diverse workforce, they are committed to achieving production excellence while upholding strict quality and environmental standards.The Role: Plant ForemanAs Plant Foreman, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the processing plant, ensuring that resources, people, and equipment are effectively managed to achieve production targets. You will lead a team of operators, support process audits, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day plant operations and allocate resources to meet production targetsSupervise and develop team members, ensuring training, skills transfer, and succession planningInterpret plant readings and make adjustments to optimise production efficiencySupport process audits and metallurgical test work, reporting on findings and progressEnsure compliance with statutory, company, and client policies and proceduresMaintain housekeeping standards and ensure safe working conditions across all shiftsIdentify variances and implement corrective actions in a timely mannerManage reporting, shift handovers, and communication systems within the plantEnforce discipline and manage performance in line with company standardsUphold safety, health, security, and environmental requirementsAbout YouMinimum 5 years experience in a diamond mining environment (essential)At least 5 years experience in DMS and recovery or separation technology (minimum)More than 10 years experience in DMS and recovery or separation technology (advantageous)Solid knowledge of processing plants, DMS, and recovery circuitsUnderstanding of metallurgical best practices and industry standardsAwareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations in mining operationsBasic computer literacy (MS Office)Strong coaching, teamwork, and leadership skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environmentClear criminal record (security/police clearance required)
