We are seeking a highly experienced Training and Development Manager for a key role within a leading mining and processing operation. This is a critical position responsible for shaping the skills and competencies of the engineering and processing teams, directly impacting operational excellence and safety.Requirements:Grade 12 or NQF 4A formal Metallurgical qualification is essentialA minimum of 5 years' experience in a management position within an Engineering or Processing HRD environmentIn-depth knowledge of South African skills development legislation and HRD methodologiesA valid medical certificate or the fitness to obtain oneKey Responsibilities:Develop and implement the HRD strategy for Engineering and Processing divisionsManage the department's annual budget and ensure accurate reporting through HRD information systemsMaintain accreditation with SETA & QCTO and manage all certification processesOversee and control risk within the HRD training functionManage the verification of competence for contractor employeesEnsure compliance with all relevant legislation (MHSA, Skills Development, EEA, BCEA)Drive change management initiatives to support business transformation
