ENVIRONMENT: A leading Information Technology and Services company headquartered in Cape Town is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with extensive expertise in Laravel, Vue.js, and associated technologies. This position is within a remote-first team that prioritizes autonomy, excellent written communication skills, and contemporary development methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional PHP development experience, including at least 2 years working with Laravel. DUTIES:Build and maintain robust, scalable web applications using Laravel and VueJSCollaborate asynchronously with a distributed teamWrite clean, maintainable, testable codeParticipate in code reviews and architecture planningWork from clearly defined tickets and documentationContribute to improving our delivery processes and team tools REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Requirements:5+ years PHP experience2+ years Laravel2+ years VueJS1+ year PostgreSQL1+ year Docker (for local dev environments)2+ years using Git for source control Nice-to-Have / Advantageous Experience:Experience using JetBrains PhpStormFamiliarity with Agile delivery processes (daily standups, working from defined tickets)Use of AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot, JetBrains AI Assistant (Junie), or Claude CodeBasic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel ATTRIBUTES:Excellent written and verbal EnglishDemonstrated success in remote, async-first environments
