The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing project profitability, ensuring contractual compliance, and managing commercial risks. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in the construction sector.Requirements:BSc Hons. degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying10+ years of post-graduate experience in the construction industryProficiency in Buildsmart System and Construction Computer Software (CCS)Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and standard contract documentsSACQSP professional registration is essentialExperience in design-build/EPC projects and project finance structuringProven ability in commercial and business risk analysisKey Responsibilities:Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and compliance with legal and project requirementsOversee contract execution, manage variations, and ensure adherence to agreed termsMonitor project expenses, control cost overruns, and ensure projects remain within budgetPrepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunitiesResolve claims and disputes with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve favorable outcomesCollaborate closely with project planners to optimize claims opportunitiesLead commercial risk analysis and contribute to business development and strategic planning
