PurposeThe incumbent will be responsible to transport and safely deliver to the specified destination goods and materials and staff and visitors by driving vehicles using the most economical routes and ensuring that all laws of the country are obeyed at all times.Focus Areas:Transportation and DeliveriesCustomer RelationsDocument ProcessingKey performance areasOperational Drive vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that the all laws of the country are always observed.Ensure that all delivery documentation (e.g PODs) is completed by the receiver as per the standard requirements.Transport staff and visitors of our client to specified destinations, in such a way that they always feel safe and comfortable.Follow the most economical and quicker routes between specified destinations so that high productivity in respect of the transport service can be maintained.Deliver or fetch documents, parcels, or goods to or from destinations mostly within the Gauteng and other specified areas.At all times conduct behaviour in such a way that the image of our client is enhanced, in respect of passengers, organisations receiving deliveries from our client of sending documents/ goods to the organisation, and other road users.Maintain the vehicles which in a clean and good running order by regular attention to daily maintenance items such as tyre pressure, sufficient oil, fuel, radiator and battery water, windscreen wiper functioning, lights and indicators. Thus, ensuring that the vehicle is safe before driving.Report any malfunctioning of the vehicle which he drives so that any necessary repairs can be done timeously.
