Job Specification: Financial AdvisorOverviewOur clients are looking for qualified and experienced Financial Advisors to join their teams. The successful candidates will provide expert financial advice, develop tailored solutions for clients, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, a customer-focused approach, and the necessary industry qualifications.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive financial advice to clients on investments, insurance, estate planning, and retirement optionsAssess client needs and develop customised financial plans and recommendationsSource new business opportunities and build strong, long-term client relationshipsEnsure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal proceduresStay updated with financial market trends, products, and changes in legislationMaintain accurate records and prepare required reportsAssist clients with claims, policy updates, and service queriesMinimum RequirementsRE5 qualification (compulsory)NQF Level 5 qualification in finance, insurance, economics, or legal studiesAt least 3 years’ experience as a financial advisor or in a related financial services roleStrong understanding of financial products, investment vehicles, and regulatory environmentExcellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skillsProficiency in financial planning tools and MS OfficePreferred QualificationsDegree in Economics or Law (legal qualification) is highly advantageousTrack record of successfully managing client portfoliosPreferred AttributesHigh level of integrity and ethical standardsSelf-motivated and goal-orientedAdaptability and commitment to ongoing professional developmentLocationPositions Nationally available (even small remote towns)
