Our client is a well-established, diversified group with operations across several sectors known for its strong governance culture and commitment to sustainable growth. Theyre looking for a Junior Financial Controller to support their Group Finance division by ensuring compliance accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and maintaining the integrity of key financial and administrative systems.This is a high-exposure role that will allow you to work closely with senior management, External Auditors, and regulatory bodies, giving you a 360° view of how a large group operates at both the strategic and operational levels. If youre someone who thrives on structure, enjoys implementing processes, and wants to build a long-term career in financial management and control, this is your opportunity to grow in a dynamic, values-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and coordinate group compliance functions, including SARS VAT, EMP, and provisional tax submissions.Manage secretarial and statutory filings for entities (CIPC, COIDA, DOL, and SARS).Develop and implement internal financial control sheets and assist during external audits, B-BBEE verification, and budget season.Maintain key registers and databases such as risk registers, asset registers, and payroll systems.Coordinate the payroll and ensure that the HR suite of payroll software is up to date and compliant.Job Experience and Skills Required:Education:Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or Internal Auditing (essential).Experience:Minimum 13 years experience within finance or accounting, preferably in a group or multi-entity environment.Experience handling statutory compliance, tax submissions, and internal controls advantageous.Skills:Proficiency in Pastel Accounting and Microsoft 365 (particularly Word and PowerPoint).Strong organisational, coordination, and database management abilities.Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain data integrity across multiple registers.For more exciting Finance vacancies, please visit:
