An innovative aerospace engineering and consulting firm is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Engineering Project Manager to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:Plan, develop, and manage aerospace engineering projects, ensuring they align with overall organizational objectives.Provide interim and quarterly status reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders.Contribute to the development of long-term budgets covering manpower, training, facilities, and equipment.Ensure comprehensive understanding of project history, status, and potential future challenges to meet contractual milestones.Lead efforts to build and expand the Project Management Group, enhancing its efficiency to support all project management functions and requirements.Guide and integrate a team of experienced engineers to achieve project goals effectively.Support business development by contributing to proposals for spin-off projects and new business opportunities.Proactively create and improve tools, techniques, and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet technical specifications.Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in EngineeringA minimum of 5 years of experience managing engineering projects.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to report effectively to senior management and clients.Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Desirable Skills and Experience:Formal project management certification or qualification.Strong background in aerospace or mechanical engineering.Candidate Attributes: The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to thrive both independently and in team settings.
