Requirements:Grade 12Minimum 2-3 years manufacturing experience with 2-3 stock controlling experience Role Competencies: Stock controlling experience is essential. Ability to work in a team independently. Attention to detail in resolving variances and being assertive when required. Good knowledge of SAGE pastel and Intermediate excel skills required. Duties:Daily stock count report Provide accurate Stock counts for production planning. To ensure correct planning required for meeting customer ordersDaily balancing of packed goods Ensuring that each and every product balances with the quantity packed goods to assist with the bulk balancingDaily Production Capturing on Sage Recording of products produced at warehouse for finished goods. To ensure there is stock on the system before dispatching and invoicingDaily finished and packaging reconciliation on excel / Daily reconciliation from Sage valuation Reconciling daily physical counts against what has been dispatched and produced on excel/Reconciling to sage daily finished goods and packaging after every 2 days. Check daily variances with extra / short stock with warehouse/store man. Also check for enough packaging for production to be updatedSpot cycle counting checks in warehouse / month end stock attendance Random physical count of packed products/Physical count of all stock in warehouse i.e. finished goods. To ensure all quantities being dispatched are correct avoiding or minimizing the risk of theft and ensuring accuracy of month end countChecking for sufficient stock on the system for IBTs (Inter Branch Transfers) and Customer Order invoicing Assisting dispatch department on queries for insufficient stock on Sage. This is to ensure invoicing department reflects sufficient quantity on sage at all times and to avoid delays on trucks leaving the warehouseMonth end count and Variance Analysis / Stock loss & gain report Recording the month end count and daily quantities. Analysis and report of adjustments and investigating variances. To check all corrections are done to sage and reconcile physical with systemIssuing and receiving of IBTs To ensure stock is being sent to the correct branch on Sage. This is to ensure sites that receive their stock on Sage for dispatching and invoicingSpot checks and counts for packaging during the month Complete spot checks and physical count for packaging during the month to assist receiving and warehouse. To ensure all counts issued are correct avoiding huge discrepanciesReturns schedule Submit the Returns excel schedule to both debtors and stock accountant per incident Key Performance IndicatorsDaily stock count reportingMaking sure daily packed goods recon is balanced to physical stock on handBalancing the bulk margarine blend to production and accurately loading production daily on sageAccurate transacting on Sage, processing IBTs to ensure the correct stock quantities are being issued and receivedMonth end variances and stock/loss analysis report Leadership StandardsProvide inspirational leadershipCreate a culture of executionDisplay business insight and innovateFacilitate inter-departmental relationships for overall growthDevelop commitment through engagement Skills and AttributesDiplomacyInitiativeAssertivenessTolerance of stressCreativityProactivityAttention to detailDeadline drivenAble to interact at middle management levelAble to plan aheadManage timeAble to prioritizeCustodian of company vision/mission/culture
