We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Draughtsperson to join their engineering team. This role is suited to a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in producing accurate and compliant E&I drawings and documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and project teams to support the design and execution of complex projects.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare, update, and maintain E&I drawings, layouts, and schematics to project specifications.Draft and modify diagrams including single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, cable routing, and termination drawings.Ensure all draughting work complies with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.Support engineers with the development of technical documentation and project deliverables.Assist with the preparation of bills of materials, equipment lists, and design data.Liaise with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure drawings are accurate and integrated across disciplines.Maintain drawing records, revision histories, and project databases.Provide draughting support during installation, construction, and commissioning phases.Experience & QualificationsRelevant diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Draughting, or equivalent qualification.Proven experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Draughtsperson in an industrial environment.Strong proficiency in draughting/design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools.Sound knowledge of E&I systems, schematics, and applicable industry standards.Experience preparing and managing project documentation and technical drawings.Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
