Restaurant Front of House Manager

Duties: Coordinate daily Front of the House restaurant operationsDeliver superior service and maximize guest satisfactionRespond efficiently and accurately to guest complaintsOrganize rosters and supervise shiftsEnsure compliance with sanitation and safety regulationsEngage with the guests and responding to their needs as requiredResponsible for stock flow and budgetingManage all staff related issuesTraining and quality control of staff on new items and ideasCome up with innovative ideas to keep the restaurant popularResponsible for efficient cash-ups and managing budget with the Finance DepartmentGeneral administrative duties, including record keeping, ordering of staff uniforms, processing emails, meeting with suppliers. Requirements: Grade 12Preferred tertiary qualification in Food Services Management / HospitalityAt least 3+ years previous Restaurant FOH Management experience in a busy environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbalMust be well-presented, guest service focused with the ability to deal with a very distinguished clienteleAbility to solve problems and find solutionsStress tolerance and ability to work under pressureExcellent ability to pay attention to detailHigh standards of ethical conduct, i.e. honesty, integrity and sensitivitySelf-disciplined with excellent planning and organizing skillsBe alert and innovativeMust be flexible with working evenings, weekends and holidaysGood knowledge of food and beverages, including dietaries, bar and wine varietalsTeam management & training abilities.
