Youll join a highly collaborative international team that believes in writing clean code, reducing technical debt, and growing together.The Role: Back-End Developer As a Back-End Developer, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain API-driven back-end systems that power the entire platform. Your work will directly impact the experience of thousands of users and help travel companies scale efficiently.This is a fully remote role aligned to UK working hours (9am5:30pm).Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance the Node.js API and supporting back-end systemsCollaborate with front-end and mobile developers to design and deliver scalable featuresWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeOptimise application performance and debug complex issuesParticipate in architecture discussions and continuously improve system designWork effectively with a globally distributed team across time zonesAbout You5+ years of back-end development experienceStrong experience with Node.js and building RESTful APIsProficient in performance optimisation and server-side logicComfortable with tools and tech including Git, Linux, MySQL, MongoDB Atlas, JIRA, PM2, DebianCloud experience with AWS, GCP, or similar platformsBonus: Experience with schema-based validation (OpenAPI)Bonus: Exposure to mobile applications or high-scale systemsBasic knowledge of React is advantageous for team collaborationStrong communicator with a passion for clean code and long-term maintainabilityReady to be part of a travel tech company thats scaling fast and thinking big?
