Key Performance Areas:The successful candidate will report to the Creditors Administrator, with responsibilities including:Maintenance and administration of financial systems and proceduresAccurate and timely verification and processing of supplier invoicesResolving discrepancies with suppliers and internal departmentsEnsuring payments comply with organisational policies, SARS requirements, and established workflowsProcessing and maintaining the vendor databaseGenerating monthly creditors reports (e.g., ageing analysis, cash flow)Reconciling control accountsAssisting with month-end and year-end closing processesGeneral bookkeeping tasksProcessing within the accounts receivable system, including invoicing and related activitiesQualifications & Skills Required:Education:Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or currently studying toward a relevant qualificationExperience:2 to 3 years’ experience in accounts payable or bookkeepingProficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAGE 300)Advanced Excel skillsSkills:Strong computer literacyGood organisational abilitiesExcellent analytical and reconciliation skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to adapt to changing prioritiesMust have own transport
